Job summary

The Keystone Distinction Group invites applications for a Phlebotomist in Due West, SC. This contract role (3 months with potential for permanent placement) runs Monday through Friday, 8a-5p. Primary duties include blood draws, specimen labeling, and accurate data entry.

Qualifications: valid phlebotomy certification and at least 6 months of venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab environment; proficiency with Microsoft Office is preferred and benefits are available.

Qualifications

• The candidate must hold a valid phlebotomy certification for the state of employment or as required.
• Minimum of 6 months' experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and specimen collection with proper labeling and handling.
• Label, centrifuge, and split specimens, ensuring test requisitions match properly.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to OSHA/DEP regulations.
