Job summary

Top Echelon LLC seeks a Phlebotomist for a contract opportunity in Anchorage, AK. The role runs for an estimated 3 months with potential for permanent placement. Work hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities include performing blood draws, labeling and centrifuging specimens, and maintaining accurate patient records. Training, troubleshooting, and workflow recommendations are part of the duties.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed is required.
• Minimum of 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Experience performing blood draws and venipuncture.
• Label specimens and centrifuge as required.
• Record maintenance data and decontamination; update patient information.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Match laboratory requisitions to specimens and label accordingly.
• Pack specimens for transport and ensure proper storage.
