Top Dog Recruiting in Oceanside, CA is seeking a Phlebotomist for a 3-month contract with potential for permanent placement. Schedule is 6 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday, with weekend rotation; some locations may require early start or late finish.

Mileage expenses are paid, and benefits are available. The role involves blood draws, specimen labeling, centrifuging, and maintaining accurate patient data, while following OSHA regulations and department procedures.

Formación

• Valid Phlebotomy certification required in the employing state.
• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens, record maintenance data, and decontaminate.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients and demonstrate technique.
• Package and store specimens for transport, ensuring correct labeling and temperatures.
• Attend required departmental trainings and comply with OSHA regulations.
