Job summary

Pediatric Health Choice is seeking a compassionate Contract Occupational Therapist to join our interdisciplinary care team in Ocala, FL. You will assess, plan, and implement individualized OT services that promote mobility and development for medically fragile children, collaborating with nurses, therapists, case managers, and families.

The role offers flexible scheduling, daytime hours, and an emphasis on family-centered care within a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Current state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
• 1 year pediatric experience preferred (PPEC, early intervention, or medically fragile population).
• CPR certification is required and Level II background screening must be passed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct therapy evaluations for pediatric patients with complex medical and developmental needs.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans to support fine/gross motor development and functional mobility.
• Deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate therapy sessions.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with PPEC and state regulations.
• Educate and support families regarding therapeutic goals and mobility strategies.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team during care planning and progress reviews.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and ethical practices.
