Job summary

Pediatric Health Choice in Leesburg, FL is seeking a Contract Occupational Therapist to join our interdisciplinary care team, delivering hands-on pediatric OT services to support mobility and development.

As a contracted OT, you will assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy, collaborate with nurses, physical and speech therapists, case managers, and families to promote holistic growth and health. Flexible daytime hours and a supportive, mission-driven environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Current state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
• CPR certification required and ability to pass Level II background screening.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Pediatric experience preferred (PPEC/early intervention/medically fragile) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct therapy evaluations for pediatric patients with complex medical and developmental needs.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans to support fine/gross motor development and functional mobility.
• Deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate therapy sessions.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with PPEC and state regulations.
• Educate and support families regarding therapeutic goals and home positioning programs.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team during care planning and progress reviews.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, clinical standards, and ethical practices.
