Job summary

ICON Technology is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist II for a 6-month contract in Austin, TX. This full-time onsite role reports to the head of Total Rewards. You will ensure accurate payroll processing, compliance with laws, and great employee experience.

You will work with cross-functional teams, maintain knowledge of payroll regulations, and act as a primary contact for employees on payroll matters. This role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of multi-state payroll and benefits administration.
• 3+ years of retirement plan administration.
• Proficiency with Workday's payroll and benefits modules.
• Experience with large non-exempt employee populations.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Administer end-to-end payroll processing in Workday.
• Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing and compliance with laws.
• Collaborate with Accounting to reconcile payroll accounts.
• Manage relationship with external payroll treasury vendor.
• Audit and reconcile payroll deductions and benefits.
• Serve as main payroll contact for employees.
