Brilliant Financial Staffing has partnered with a well-established company in Santa Ana, CA to identify a Payroll Coordinator. This contract role covers payroll for 2,500+ employees across multiple states and supports payroll reporting and compliance activities.

Start date is ASAP. The Payroll Coordinator will prepare and process weekly payroll for hourly staff and bi-weekly payroll for salaried staff, using UKG, with Garnishments and timekeeping data management.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Payroll experience.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-state payroll environment.
• Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and PivotTables.
• Excellent communication skills.
• UKG payroll experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process weekly payroll for 2,500+ hourly employees and bi-weekly payroll for salaried employees.
• Reconcile timecards and payroll data in UKG.
• Process approximately 25 garnishments on a bi-weekly basis.
• Process timekeeping data related to customer job sites for upload into UKG and reporting.
• Support various payroll-related projects and reporting needs.
• Perform additional responsibilities as required by management.
