Our client, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking a Contract Patient Services Representative - Pediatric to join their team. As a Patient Services Representative, you will be part of the Patient Services Department supporting the dental clinic. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a compassionate approach to patient care which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Contract Patient Services Representative - Pediatric
Location: New York, NY
Pay Range: $28 - $30 per hour
What's the Job?
- Provide the first level of customer service to patients of the dental clinic, from greeting and routing patients to record maintenance and cashier duties.
- Monitor daily clinic operations, ensuring adherence to established guidelines.
- Assign and review work of student and/or casual employees engaged in routine tasks.
- Schedule follow-up examinations and arrange for substitute patients as cancellations occur.
- Handle inquiries requiring additional investigation and/or specialized knowledge.

- Ability to triage emergencies effectively.
