Job summary

Fairmarkit is seeking an experienced Part-Time People Operations Consultant to support our People team during a temporary leave of absence. You will independently manage onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, compliance activities, employee data management, and performance review administration while partnering with the VP, People.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working remotely in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in People Operations, HR, or HR Generalist roles.
• Experience managing full employee lifecycle: onboarding, offboarding, data management, HR administration.
• Experience administering employee benefits and leave programs.
• Familiarity with HR compliance: E-Verify, 401(k), HR audits, and recordkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Manage onboarding for new hires in Rippling and ensure a seamless experience.
• Support offboarding with documentation and workflows.
• Maintain accurate employee records and employment data in Rippling.
• Process changes: promotions, compensation, title, manager, and other updates.
• Respond to employee questions and provide day-to-day People Operations support.
• Coordinate benefits and leave administration with vendors.
• Assist with benefits renewal activities and communications.
• Coordinate 401(k) administration and compliance activities.
• Support HR audits and compliance initiatives.
• Process unemployment verification requests and visa-related documentation.
• Ensure HR records are complete, accurate, and compliant.
• Support EOR administration for globally distributed employees.
