AMI Metals, Inc. is a global supplier of aircraft quality raw materials and a subsidiary of Reliance, Inc. They seek an admin/order-entry professional to manage daily orders, customer communications, and pricing processes in a busy environment in El Paso, Texas.

The role requires strong data entry, CRM/ERP familiarity, and the ability to coordinate with production on delivery schedules while upholding company policies and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or six to twelve months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven ability to perform daily order entry and customer communications.
• Familiarity with pricing strategies and contract structures.

Responsibilities

• Daily order entry and processing of customer orders.
• Review daily reports and update customers on order status.
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone or email with professional interaction.
• Run cut planner software to support production planning.
• Quote prices per current pricing strategies and contract terms.
• Maintain or exceed contract margins through accurate processing.
• Follow all AMI policies on inventory, pricing, purchasing, credit, and quality.
• Communicate credit terms, AR and policies to customers.
• Estimate delivery schedules based on production lead times.
• Know the company product line and services.
• Keep quotes and transactions files well organized.
• Stay informed on industry publications and participate in meetings.
