Job summary

Soliant is seeking a perioperative nurse with an active RN license for a contract position in Clinton Charter Township, MI. You will collaborate with skilled healthcare professionals in a dynamic and supportive operating room environment, using your leadership abilities and clinical knowledge to deliver exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities include leading the nursing process, delegating tasks, teaching patients and families pre- and post-operatively, and ensuring seamless handoffs.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Recent OR experience, preferably in high-acuity settings.
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills.
• Ability to delegate, supervise, and document care efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver quality patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Oversee and delegate tasks to other team members as needed, ensuring all care standards are met.
• Teach and support patients and their families pre- and post-operatively, providing education and emotional reassurance.
• Communicate relevant patient and family information to the broader healthcare team, facilitating seamless transitions in care.
• Proactively identify variances from patient goals, contribute to problem-solving, and ensure implementation of effective solutions.
