Job summary

Soliant is seeking a CVOR Registered Nurse in Charleston, SC, to join a high-acuity cardiovascular OR team. This contract role emphasizes specialized perioperative care and close collaboration with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and nursing staff.

You will provide direct nursing care, assist across pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases, uphold infection control, document procedures, and ensure equipment sterility.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in SC or a compact state is required.
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR RN experience.
• Advanced aseptic technique and cardiovascular procedure knowledge.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care in the Cardiovascular OR.
• Assist pre-operative, intra-operative, and immediate post-operative management.
• Advocate for patient safety and infection control.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and nursing staff for patient-centered care.
• Maintain and sterilize surgical equipment and document procedures.
