Job summary

Biodesix is seeking contract mobile phlebotomists to collect samples at patients' homes or workplaces via nasal swab or venipuncture. The role supports blood-based tests for COVID-19 and other diagnostics, with virtual training provided. Requires transporting supplies and maintaining PHI compliance.

Employees must provide gloves, disposal, and have access to smartphone, laptop, and printer to receive orders and print documents. Reliability and safety are essential for patient care.

Qualifications

• Excellent phlebotomy skills including venipuncture.
• Minimum 1 year phlebotomy experience within the last 3 years.
• Professional verbal and written communication with clients.
• Ability to strictly follow established procedures and protect PHI.
• Strong time management and scheduling capabilities.
• Ability to print, scan, upload and manage electronic documents.

Responsibilities

• Contact each patient within 24 hours.
• Prompt scheduling of appointments (1 to 3 days).
• Communicate with the office regarding scheduling, patient issues or draw complications.
• Specimen collection adhering to kit instructions precisely, to ensure accurate testing.
• Samples packed and shipped same day using FedEx shipping materials provided by company.
• Prompt invoicing of draws for payment.
