Job summary

Quaker Houghton in the United States seeks a Contract Manufacturing Programs Coordinator to coordinate contract manufacturing activities, ensure on-time deliveries, and minimize costs while meeting specifications.

You will assist in negotiating rates, work with Product Management and SCD to ensure capacity, qualify new manufacturers, manage material storage, and monitor cost metrics with periodic audits and ISO/SOX compliance.

• Experience coordinating contract manufacturing activities.
• Ability to analyze costs and optimize operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate contract manufacturing activities to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Assist CM Manager in negotiating rates and preparing bid packets.
• Work with Product Management and SCD to ensure capacity per strategic plan.
• Qualify new contract manufacturers with SCD and Quality Assurance.
• Manage storage of raw materials and finished goods at CM sites; set stocking levels and conduct cycle counts.
• Monitor costs and other metrics weekly, monthly, and YTD; investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Handle JDE transactions (Item Setups, BOM, routings) and generate production reports.
• Maintain relationships with customers and meet their needs.
• Assist with audits and ISO/SOX compliance.
