Job summary

Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, owned by the City of Austin and operated by the Department of Aviation, is seeking a Contract Management Supervisor II to oversee the purchasing, contracting and grant activities within the Asset Management Services Division.

This role supervises a multi-discipline team, ensures compliance with city, state and federal requirements, and drives contract performance and cost savings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus six years managing, reviewing, monitoring and/or negotiating grants, contracts or other similar documents, two of which were in a supervisory or managerial capacity.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and monitors operational processes, procedures and related systems in support of departmental buying, contracting and/or grant activities.
• Develops and negotiates grants and contracts to include performance measures, terms and conditions, penalties and incentives and cost savings.
• Reviews, revises and re-negotiates existing and expiring contracts for performance measures, cost reductions, consolidation opportunities and materials management.
