Job summary

Aleron is seeking a detail-oriented Contract Management Specialist to oversee software licensing, vendor agreements, and contract compliance across the organization. You will optimize software investments, manage renewals, and support internal stakeholders to drive process improvements that impact financial performance.

The role involves collaborating with procurement, finance, legal, and IT to ensure license optimization and uninterrupted service, within a 1st shift, 40-hour workweek.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Business Administration.
• 3+ years of IT asset or license management experience.
• 3+ years of experience with IT asset management tools (ServiceNow, Flexera, Lansweeper).
• 3+ years of experience with SaaS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage software license inventories, monitor usage, and ensure compliance with vendor agreements and internal policies.
• Coordinate software procurement activities, contract renewals, and vendor relationships to maintain uninterrupted service.
• Support license provisioning, user access requests, and troubleshooting while maintaining accurate entitlement documentation.
• Collaborate with procurement, finance, legal, IT, and vendors to optimize licensing strategies and contract terms.
• Drive process improvements, maintain operational documentation, perform financial analysis, and deliver key performance reporting.

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Business Administration.
• 3+ years of experience in IT asset or license management.
• 3+ years of experience with IT asset management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Flexera, Lansweeper).
• 3+ years of experience with SaaS requirements.

What Sets You Apart

• ITIL or SAM certification.
• Familiarity with enterprise software vendors (e.g., Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle, Autodesk).
• Experience with compliance frameworks and audit processes.
• Solid understanding of Accounting Principles.
• Strong understanding of software licensing models (e.g., subscription, perpetual, concurrent).
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis for tracking and reporting.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions and develop actionable recommendations.
• The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of software licensing models and asset management practices.
