Job summary

Acara Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Buyer to strategically negotiate while maintaining inventory of direct and indirect/MRO products, building partnerships with suppliers to help meet performance goals.

This in-office role offers a Mon–Fri schedule 7:00 AM–3:30 PM with potential to transition to hybrid; compensation up to $70K/yr, based on experience, and room to grow within a global workforce solutions leader.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a Buyer role for direct and indirect spending in a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years of ERP/MRP experience.
• 3+ years of experience with contract management and supplier negotiations.
• 3+ years of experience solving complex problems.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and maintain inventory levels and inventory turn needed for plan.
• Track, and maintain deflation, analyze spending, and utilize synergy commitments while meeting aggressive delivery timeframes.
• Research, analyze and forecast current and future buying trends, markets, styles, and products, with attention to specified target market and demographics.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers.
• Issue Purchase Orders and expedites deliveries as necessary.
• Assess financial risks of purchases.
• Attend trade shows, product exhibitions, and conferences to maintain current understanding of new products and trends.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of market dynamics and commodity outlook.

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring:
