Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking a maintenance mechanic to support all on-site equipment, performing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs. The role involves reading schematics, using hand and power tools, and ensuring production schedules are met with safe practices in mind.

The position requires a background in equipment maintenance, welding preferred, and at least five years of plant/equipment maintenance experience in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Must have equipment maintenance background.
• Welding preferred.
• Five (5) or more year's plant/equipment maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose equipment problems
• Troubleshoot systems and make necessary adjustments, corrections or repairs
• Call-in and coordinate outside repairs if needed
• Mentor and train lesser trained team members and assist in their advancement
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and walk or stand most of the shift and be able to work overtime as needed
• Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules
• Make repairs in a timely fashion
• Work and perform safely with knowledge of OSHA standard industrial safety practices
