Job summary

FullShift Staffing, LLC is seeking licensed LPNs to join our Nursing Team on travel assignments across the United States. Travel bonus offered. Even if you live in Montana, please apply.

You will provide nursing care within scope of practice and ensure patient needs are met according to standards and orders. Responsibilities include infection control, quality-improvement participation, patient education, timely medication administration, and collaboration with physicians.

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN in state or compact license.
• One-year nursing management experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Uses Infection Control Manual to ensure patient safety.
• Supports and assists with Quality Improvement Program.
• Uses Quality Life Manual for patient placement and monitoring.
• Notifies departments of patient changes (room changes, LOA, admissions, discharge).
• Educates patients and families.
• Administers medications timely per facility policy.
• Administers treatments timely per facility policy.
• Receives and transcribes physician orders per Nurse Practice Act.
• Tours with physicians as needed.

Objective

Provides nursing care within scope of practice to ensure patient’s needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies and procedures, and state, federal and local guidelines.

Principal Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of the Company Infection Control Manual.


• Understands, participates and assists in implementing the Quality Improvement Program.


• Utilizes the Quality Life Manual for identification, placement, and monitoring of patients in the appropriate programs.


• Notifies other Departments of patient changes, i.e., room changes, LOA, new admits, discharge, etc.


• Conducts family and patient education.


• Demonstrates the ability to administer medications timely and according to facility policy.


• Demonstrates the ability to administer treatments timely and according to facility policy.


• Demonstrates ability to receive, transcribe, and carry out physician orders, if allowed by Nurse Practice Act


• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as LPN in state or have a compact license.


• One-year prior nursing management experience preferred not required.
