Job summary

FullShift Staffing, LLC is seeking an experienced LPN in Montana to provide nursing care within scope, ensuring patient needs are met in line with standards and physician orders. The role includes medication administration, patient education, and collaboration with physicians.

The ideal candidate has state-licensed LPN credentials, prior nursing management experience, and familiarity with long-term care settings. PointClickCare experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as LPN in state.
• One-year prior nursing management experience preferred.
• Long term care experience.
• PointClickCare charting experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of the Infection Control Manual.
• Participates in Quality Improvement Program implementation.
• Monitors patients using the Quality Life Manual.
• Notifies departments of patient changes and admissions/discharges.
• Conducts family and patient education.
• Administers medications timely according to facility policy.
• Administers treatments timely according to facility policy.
• Receives, transcribes, and carries out physician orders as allowed by Nurse Practice Act.
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.

Objective

Provides nursing care within scope of practice to ensure patient’s needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies and procedures, and state, federal and local guidelines.

Principal Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of the Company Infection Control Manual.
• Understands, participates and assists in implementing the Quality Improvement Program.
• Utilizes the Quality Life Manual for identification, placement, and monitoring of patients in the appropriate programs.
• Notifies other Departments of patient changes, i.e., room changes, LOA, new admits, discharge, etc.
• Conducts family and patient education.
• Demonstrates the ability to administer medications timely and according to facility policy.
• Demonstrates the ability to administer treatments timely and according to facility policy.
• Demonstrates ability to receive, transcribe, and carry out physician orders, if allowed by Nurse Practice Act
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.
