Job summary

FullShift Staffing, LLC is seeking a licensed LVN/LPN to provide nursing care in a long-term care setting. The role emphasizes charting accuracy, patient condition monitoring, and collaboration with physicians.

Familiarity with PointClickCare and current BLS/CPR certification are required or obtainable. This role may involve rounds with physicians and coordination with multiple departments to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

• Experience in a long-term care facility.
• Familiarity with PointClickCare charting system.
• Licensed LVN/LPN in practicing state.
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Nursing management experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follow established procedures for charting and incident reporting.
• Adhere to procedures for narcotic counting, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction.
• Document patient condition changes including nutrition, infections, skin conditions, weight loss, or other changes.
• Use the Quality Life Manual to identify, place, and monitor patients in programs.
• Document and notify departments of room changes, LOA, new admits, or discharges.
• Make rounds with physicians when necessary.

Job description

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Provides nursing care within scope of practice to ensure patient’s needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies as well as state, federal and local guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Long Term Care experience


• Point click care charting experience


• Current LVN/LPN license in practicing state.


• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to acquire one.


• Experience in nursing management is preferred but not required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follows established procedure for charting and incident reporting.


• Follows company procedures for narcotic counting, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction.


• Documents any change in patient's conditions including but not limited to nutritional problems, infections, skin conditions, weight loss or any other noticeable changes.


• Utilizes the Quality Life Manual for identification, placement, and monitoring of patients in the appropriate programs.


• Document and notify applicable departments of any patient's room changes, LOA, new admits, or discharges.


• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.
