LHH Recruitment Solutions seeks a Contract Litigation Attorney to support a busy landlord/tenant practice in Bellevue, WA. This role offers immediate courtroom exposure, hands-on case management, and a chance to handle housing-related litigation from intake to resolution.

You will draft pleadings and motions, conduct legal research, and attend hearings, mediations, and arbitrations. The position emphasizes independent case management in a fast-paced environment and strong client communication.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Washington State Bar license preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage cases independently.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced litigation environment.

Responsabilités

• Handle landlord/tenant litigation matters from intake through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, responses, and legal correspondence.
• Conduct legal research and prepare case analyses.
• Attend court hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and arbitrations.
• Take and defend depositions as needed.
• Communicate directly with clients regarding case strategy and developments.
• Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes efficiently.
• Maintain case files and ensure compliance with court deadlines.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff on litigation strategy.
