Our client in Northern NJ is seeking a Contract Lifecycle Management Administrator to support the development, implementation, governance, and ongoing administration of the enterprise contract management program. This is a hybrid position, onsite 3-4 days in Northern NJ.
This role will serve as the central point of coordination for contract-related activities across Compliance, Legal, Finance, Sales, Information Technology, Information Security, Product Delivery, and Executive Leadership.
The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with contract lifecycle management (CLM), contract operations, or legal operations, and is comfortable building scalable processes, improving visibility, strengthening governance, and driving consistency across the contract lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and govern the organization's Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) framework.
- Establish contract management policies, procedures, standards, playbooks, job aids, and decision trees.
- Design and maintain contract intake, review, approval, and renewal workflows.
- Coordinate cross-functional participation across Sales, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Information Security, Product Delivery, and Executive Leadership.
- Manage contract intake, tracking, administration, and lifecycle activities.
- Perform initial contract review and identify contractual, regulatory, operational, financial, and security requirements.
- Coordinate contract routing, stakeholder reviews, approvals, and escalations.
- Maintain contract repositories, document management standards, and metadata governance.
- Track contractual obligations, milestones, renewals, amendments, notice periods, and decommissioning activities.
- Develop contract-related metrics, dashboards, reporting, and governance controls.
- Support audit, compliance, and contract record retrieval activities.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and support future CLM technology implementations and automation initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience establishing or improving contract management programs and governance frameworks.
- Experience managing contract intake, repositories, workflows, reviews, approvals, and renewals.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional contract review processes involving Legal, Compliance, Finance, Sales, Information Security, and operational teams.
- Hands-on experience with contract administration activities, including:
- Contract intake and triage
- Initial contract review and risk identification
- Contract tracking and administration
- Renewal monitoring and notice management
- Contract repository and metadata management
- Contract amendment coordination
- Review and approval coordination
- Audit support and contract record retrieval
- Contractual commitment and obligation tracking
- Decommissioning coordination and tracking
- Experience developing metrics, reporting, governance documentation, and process controls.
- Experience supporting or implementing CLM technologies, document management systems, workflow automation tools, Jira, SharePoint, DocuSign, or comparable solutions.
- Healthcare, healthcare technology, HIPAA, Medicaid, or regulatory contract experience preferred.
