This role is remote with potential travel to our main office in New Hyde Park, NY or the FreedomCare hub closest to you.
Department & Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Contract & Licensing Specialist to streamline the contracting and licensing processes with Medicaid payors, state and county agencies, and Managed Care Organizations (MCOs). This role ensures compliance and smooth expansion into new markets, supporting FreedomCare's mission to provide home-based healthcare solutions.
This role will focus on managing all contracts and licenses with State and County Agencies, Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) and state payors nationally, overseeing applications for new states, and ensuring timely follow-up, and renewal on all contract-related matters.

At FreedomCare, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides our employees with the opportunity to professionally grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $60,000 and $70,000 per year at the commencement of your first year of employment. Compensation decisions are dependent upon a variety of factors which may include, but are not limited to: skill set, years of relevant experience, education, location, and licensure/certifications.
