Job summary

ASR International is seeking a Contractor Laboratory Technician in Sugar Land, TX. The role entails conducting laboratory testing and inspections to established procedures, preparing and tracking samples, and reporting results.

You will operate and calibrate lab equipment while supporting QA/QC activities and product development tasks, with a focus on accuracy and safety in a 40-hour lab environment. The position is a 12-month contract with potential extension, offering benefits as described and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in Chemistry, Engineering Technology, Applied Science, or related field preferred.
• Laboratory, quality, manufacturing, or technical experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Be results driven with a keen eye for detail and being detail oriented.
• Showing up consistently and on time.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing, inspections, and evaluations according to established procedures and specifications.
• Prepare, label, maintain, and track samples for testing and analysis.
• Record, analyze, and report test results accurately and in a timely manner.
• Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Support quality assurance and quality control activities.
• Assist engineers and technical personnel with product development and validation testing.
• Maintain laboratory records, documentation, and testing logs.
• Follow all safety policies and laboratory procedures.
• Support investigations related to product quality, test failures, or manufacturing issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.
