Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Lab Technician Analyst to support laboratory testing and quality evaluation across multiple disciplines in Saint Louis, MO. This contract role offers exposure to analytical chemistry, microbiology, stability, and materials testing, with opportunities to develop technical and analytical skills.

The role emphasizes data collection, accurate documentation, and collaboration with scientists on multiple projects, with a Monday–Friday schedule and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a life sciences or chemistry field.
• Laboratory experience from coursework, internships, co-ops, or industry.
• Solid understanding of lab techniques and good laboratory practices.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to document observations and results accurately.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory testing and analysis to support product quality and development.
• Follow established methods, protocols, and safety standards.
• Collect, analyze, document, and communicate experimental data and test results.
• Support testing within analytical chemistry, microbiology, stability, and materials testing.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Prepare samples, reagents, standards, and testing materials.
• Maintain laboratory records in compliance with quality requirements.
• Collaborate with scientists and cross-functional teams on testing priorities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of laboratory efficiency.
• Adapt to changing projects and schedules; follow safety and environmental requirements.
