Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking Associate and Mid-Level Industrial Engineers for the Executive Fleet program in San Antonio, TX. This contract assignment emphasizes operating plans, data analysis, and Lean improvements on a fast-paced team.

Candidates must be US citizens with 2–5 years IE/Production engineering experience, and proficiency in Python, SAS, VBA, and SQL. 100% onsite and 1st/2nd shift options are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
• 2-5 years of experience with Project Planning, Scheduling, Project Management.
• 2-5 years as an Industrial Engineer or Production Engineer in a factory environment with familiarity with Lean concepts.
• Experience with programming languages including Python, SAS, VBA, SQL.
• Work 4x10 schedule (Sun-Wed) or (Wed-Sat) on 1st shift or 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

• Develops Operating plans and Recovery plans as needed.
• Develops models, databases and spreadsheets to analyze data and provides summary analysis and metrics for customers.
• Develops, implements, and improves processes to enhance schedule performance, lower cost, and improve quality through Lean and IE concepts.
• Performs risk analysis using project management tools and defines scope, cost, and timing.
• Interacts with cross-functional teams to gather data for process improvements.
