Job summary

Treasure Island Hotel Casino is seeking an experienced HVAC technician to troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems across the property, including boilers, chillers, pumps, and EMS. You will adjust temperatures and ensure optimal climate control for guest areas and back-of-house spaces.

Requirements include a minimum of five years in HVAC, extensive controls and MEP knowledge, a Class-2 Refrigerant License, ability to read blueprints, and a Nevada driver's license.

Qualifications

• At least five years’ Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) experience required.
• A minimum of five years’ experience with controls, line voltage, boilers, chillers, pumps, plumbing, water softeners, and water testing of closed and open loop systems required.
• Ability to operate an Energy Management Systems (EMS) is a must.
• Must have, or be able to obtain, a valid Nevada Driver’s License.
• Must have, or be able to obtain, a Class-2 Refrigerant License.
• Read, control, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) blueprints preferred.
• Professional appearance and demeanor a must.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment, chillers, pumps, boilers, and EMS.
• Adjust and maintain internal temperatures.
• Complete water treatment tests of closed-loop and open-loop systems.
• Change filters on HVAC equipment, chillers, pumps, boilers, cooling towers and EMS.
• Drive and operate company vehicles.
• Perform daily pool and spa readings, calibrations, and checks.
