Job summary

Creative Office Resources in Seattle is seeking a Designer to deliver space planning, furniture specifications, and installation drawings for contract projects. You will collaborate with Sales, develop concepts, and present designs using CAD and visualizations.

The role focuses on mentorship, teamwork, and growth of the design group, with strong emphasis on presentation skills and client collaboration. 1–5 years of experience and a design degree are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–5 years of professional experience in the Design industry.
• Degree in Interior Design or related field from a CIDA accredited school.
• Highly proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and CET; able to learn new software quickly.
• Strong interpersonal skills and leadership qualities.
• Effective organization skills with a critical eye for details.
• Ability to work independently and be a contributing team player.
• Initiative to seek guidance to advance skills on product, design process, and technology.
• Articulate process issues to Design Management.
• Ability to seek information, resolve problems, and share insight with a larger team.
• Proven track record of problem-solving and decision-making; listening and questioning well.

Responsibilities

• Provide space planning, furniture applications, and installation drawings.
• Lead client meetings and act as a consultant with industry partners.
• Develop design concepts with showrooms and visualization drawings.
• Create floor plans, block plans, and space layouts that are code compliant.
• Produce drawings and renderings using CET and AutoCAD.
• Assist with material selections for workstations, offices, and ancillary spaces.
• Collaborate with COR team and Sales to drive design solutions.
• Maintain accurate project inventories and measurements.
• Support management with showroom tours and client presentations.
