Creative Office Resources is seeking a Senior Designer to deliver space planning and furniture specifications for contract furniture. The role supports design team growth, mentors others, and collaborates with Sales to drive business.

Strong presentation skills and leadership are essential for client-facing activities. Responsibilities include programming, schematic design, showroom engagement, and producing accurate drawings using CET and AutoCAD, with emphasis on code-compliant space planning

Qualifications

• Degree in Interior Design from a CIDA-accredited school.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, CET, and MS Office; able to learn new software quickly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with attention to detail.
• Proven track record in design project coordination and client interaction.

Responsibilities

• Training participation and engagement: self-guided, virtual, and collaborative learning.
• Design and specify furniture for product applications, with willingness to learn new initiatives.
• Determine project requirements with COR team members and industry partners.
• Attend client meetings independently and act as a consultant for industry partners.
• Provide design services including programming, space planning, block plans, and drawings.
