Job summary

Human Rights Spokane seeks an experienced Executive Director to provide strategic leadership, operational oversight, and fundraising for the organization. The role focuses on growing private donations, grants, and community partnerships to advance human rights across the region.

The position is offered as a year-long contract (consultant) with minimum fundraising expectations for renewal. Expect collaboration with diverse communities and government partners to promote inclusivity and protection

Qualifications

• College degree from an accredited college or university.
• Experience in working for and/or leading nonprofit organizations or nonprofit efforts.
• Strong fundraising and community outreach experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead fundraising, partnerships, and board engagement.
• Serve as the primary ambassador and translate board strategy into programs.
• Cultivate relationships across Spokane County and the broader region.
• Oversee annual Champions Banquet planning and execution.
• Manage finances with the Board Treasurer and ensure sound operations.
