Job summary

EnergyX is seeking a Demonstration Plant Operator on a contract basis to operate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot demonstration equipment. Training will be provided, and the team works in a shift-based environment with a support group of eight people.

The role requires safety-first conduct, self-direction, and the ability to stand for long periods while occasionally covering night shifts. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Willingness to follow safety rules and conduct work in a safe manner.
• Self-directed and motivated.
• Must be capable of standing throughout the working day.
• Must be capable of lifting 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, maintain and troubleshoot demonstration equipment.
• Record instrument readouts and report to a supervisor; ensure punctuality and shift coverage.
• Night shift availability; occasional shift coverage for colleagues.
