Job summary

EnergyX is seeking a Demonstration Plant Operator on a contract basis to operate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot demonstration equipment. Training will be provided, and the team works in a shift-based environment with a support group of eight people.

The role requires safety-first conduct, self-direction, and the ability to stand for long periods while occasionally covering night shifts. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

The Role

The Demonstration Plant Operator operates, monitors, maintains, and troubleshoots demonstration equipment. Our ideal candidate will be willing to learn new things, be dedicated to the running and production of the plant, and can remain flexible throughout the training period and with shift assignments. As we work together to move commercialization forward, candidates should be informed of the following while considering the position:

• This is a contract position to start. We work closely with a third-party consultant to help ensure all contractors receive medical, dental, and vision benefits, as well as a 401(k)
• The job includes on-the-job training for all functions.

Key Responsibilities

Demonstration Plant Operations

The position will work under a shift lead and work in a team of 8 people. Training will be included.

Administration

Instrument readouts are recorded and reported to a supervisor. The position requires showing up on time for the shift and notifying a supervisor if they are unable to make their shift. Working night shifts is available; individuals may need to fill in a rare night shift for a colleague.
