Neal R Gross & Co. seeks experienced Court Reporters for contract work visiting client sites in your local area. You will use shorthand, voice, or digital capture to create verbatim records for courts, meetings, depositions, and hearings.

Responsibilities include setup, transport of equipment, advance prep, securing exhibits, and uploading worksheets. Prior experience and equipment are required; NCRA/AAERT/NVRA preferred.

Formación

• 1+ years as Court Reporter.
• Experience with on-site depositions and court appearances.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Able to pass security screening for client sites.
• NCRA, AAERT, or NVRA certification strongly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Take down proceedings using machine shorthand, voice, or digital capture.
• Capture verbatim records of courts, meetings, depositions, and hearings.
• Administer oaths and participate in depositions and hearings.
• Transport, set up, and operate equipment to capture the record.
• Prepare in advance for assignments and review case materials.
• Ensure exhibits are secured and files are uploaded after proceedings.
• Maintain reports and logs; respond to communications promptly.
• Interact professionally with high-level clients and schedules.
