Job summary

Chimes is seeking a pricing professional to develop and maintain pricing strategies for federal and commercial contracts. You will analyze cost data and prepare clear reports for stakeholders, while staying compliant with FAR/DFARS and related regulations.

Collaborate across departments to support negotiations and proposals, maintain accurate documentation, and uphold high integrity standards in a fast-paced environment. A strong background in cost accounting and advanced Excel is essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, or related field.
  • 3+ years pricing experience in nonprofit or federal consulting.
  • Strong understanding of federal contract pricing (FFP, Cost-Plus, IDIQ) and FAR/DFARS.
  • Knowledge of SCA, DBA, and labor CBAs.
  • Advanced Excel and cost-estimating techniques.
  • Familiarity with cost accounting.
  • Proven track record in negotiations and customer presentations.

What You'll Do

  • Stay current on WDR, CBA, and FAR requirements to ensure compliance
  • Collaborate across departments to support successful negotiations and proposals
  • Maintain accurate reports, logs, and documentation in a timely manner
  • Uphold confidentiality and high standards of integrity in all work
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, or a related field (preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience developing pricing in a nonprofit, federal consulting, or similar industry
  • Solid understanding of federal contract pricing structures (FFP, Cost-Plus, IDIQ, etc.) and regulations (FAR, DFARS)
  • Strong working knowledge of the SCA, DBA, and labor union CBAs
  • Advanced Excel skills and expertise in cost estimating techniques
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with familiarity in cost accounting
  • Proven track record in negotiations and customer presentations
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with ISSA Clean standards is a plus
