Job summary

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is seeking a detail-oriented Analyst to support contract and compliance operations, applying attorney guidance, data analysis, and system proficiency to keep publication and data-sharing practices compliant with laws.

You will manage JIRA tickets, review contracts, assess data sharing permissions, analyze statutory guidance, and use Excel and AI tools to improve speed and accuracy in contract and compliance tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of relevant experience in data governance, compliance, or analytics.
• Proficient in handling large datasets with Excel and data tracking.
• Understanding of contracts, data sharing, and publication rights.
• Experience with JIRA or similar issue-tracking systems.
• Ability to learn internal systems and emerging technologies, including AI tools.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and document metadata-related issues using the JIRA system.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and close tickets.
• Review large volumes of attorney interpretations of contracts.
• Determine data sharing permissions under attorney guidance.
• Apply legal interpretations to assess compliance and risk.
• Analyze statutory guidance and ensure publication complies with laws.
• Evaluate data against legal standards across jurisdictions.
• Learn and navigate multiple internal systems.
• Use Excel for data analysis and reporting on large datasets.
• Apply AI tools to improve speed and accuracy in tasks.
