Job summary

Hornet Staffing, Inc, a GEE Group company, is seeking a Communications Specialist to write, edit, and manage website and training materials. You will produce high-quality internal and external communications, ensuring brand consistency and clear messaging for diverse audiences.

The role emphasizes content creation, documentation, and collaboration with Corporate Communications to align with brand guidelines. Strong writing and organizational skills are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications/Journalism, Public Relations, English, Liberal Arts, or other job-related field
• 3 years of communications, marketing or publications experience to include writing communications/advertisement materials
• Demonstrated excellent editing/writing; spelling, grammar, punctuation

Responsibilities

• Promote blending learning and communication solutions using innovative technology or tools to meet business goals.
• Write and/or edit all materials to include communications with internal and external audiences (members, clients, prospects and agents/brokers/consultants, internal associates, healthcare providers, and other represented populations).
• Consults with Corporate Communications to assure adherence to Brand rules and corporate style and coordinates design/layout with them.
• May be responsible for maintaining division website/intranet information.
• Writes internal/external communication materials (newsletters, bulletins, manuals, brochures, etc.) aligning with marketing goals and coordinates revisions.
• Creates content updates for division websites.
• Tracks projects and maintains high level of customer service.
