Jr. Contract Closeout Specialist (0009)

OCT Consulting is a business management and technology consulting firm that provides support to Federal Government clients. We offer services in Strategy, Process Improvement, Change Management, Program and Project Management, Acquisition/Procurement, and Information Technology.

Responsibilities and Duties

OCT is seeking Acquisition Professionals (Closeout Specialists) with at least 2 years of Contract Specialist or Contracting and Procurement experience, specifically in close-out activities. Experience supporting a federal acquisition office in the Contract and Procurement Series, 1102, is preferred. Candidates may have supported either a government agency or a federal or commercial acquisition office, or both. Expertise in closing various contract types (firm-fixed, cost-reimbursement, time and material, labor hour, and hybrids) is required.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 2 years of federal contract closeout experience
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Experience preparing expired contracts for archiving or destruction
• Experience closing simple and complex contracts (e.g., FFP, LH, Cost-type)
• Ability to obtain or retain a Public Trust clearance (including credit, fingerprint, and law enforcement checks)
• Willingness to travel to Washington D.C. as needed; work primarily remote and at OCT's Tyson's Corner, VA office
• U.S. Citizen
