Job summary

Tin Can is seeking a contract Brand & Product Copywriter to craft copy that resonates with kids, parents, and design‑mared adults across packaging, web, email, and in‑app experiences. You’ll translate the Tin Can spirit into delightful, conversion‑driven copy that sounds human and playful.

You’ll collaborate closely with brand and product teams to name products, write emails that move parents to act, and shape FAQs without sacrificing warmth or clarity.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years writing copy with brand/campaign and direct‑response experience.
  • Portfolio demonstrating range across funny/kid-friendly and clear parent-focused copy.
  • Experience with product and packaging copy.
  • Experience writing for dual-audience brand (parents, purchaser, kids, user).

Responsibilities

  • Write for multiple surfaces—packaging, web, email/lifecycle flows, social captions, and in‑app/product copy.
  • Champion and coach the Tin Can voice: playful, nostalgic, irreverent, rarely saccharine.
