Job description

Gallivan, White & Boyd, P.A., one of the Southeast’s leading law firms founded in 1948 in Greenville, South Carolina is seeking a Contract Attorney with at least 3 years’ experience to join our Torts and Insurance Practice with primary reporting to our Greenville, SC office although remote or hybrid work will be considered for the right candidate. The candidate should have excellent academic credentials and admittance to the South Carolina Bar.

The ideal candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail as well as experience in legal analysis, drafting discovery, and client reporting. Prior experience in personal injury or property damage litigation is preferred. The Contract Attorney position is initially a part‑time, non‑partnership track, hourly position with the potential to transition to full‑time.

At least three years of litigation experience and current membership with the South Carolina Bar are preferred.

Candidates will have an immediate opportunity for case handling responsibility and direct interaction with clients. Successful candidates must be motivated, highly organized, and have the ability manage a caseload as the lead attorney, while receiving mentoring, training, and supervision from senior lawyers at the firm.

Salary: Depends on experience.
