Job summary

Asmodee is seeking a Temporary Art Director for a 6-month, 40-hour week contract in the United States. You will guide artwork for our games by directing freelance artists from concept to final, while collaborating with internal teams and licensors to fit our studio pipeline.

You will scout talent, review portfolios, maintain artist databases, and represent the Art Department in IP development groups. The role requires a strong visual storytelling eye and a Bachelor’s degree with 2–3 years in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art, Illustration or Visual Design with 2–3 years of relevant experience.
• Portfolio demonstrating visual art and visual communication skills.
• Ability to take direction and collaborate with teams and individuals.
• Strong eye for visual storytelling and fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Commission and direct artwork from freelance artists, providing references and direction from concept to final.
• Collaborate with internal teams and licensors as part of a studio pipeline.
• Facilitate communication between freelancers, internal teams, and Licensing.
• Represent the Art Department in story groups for IP development.
• Scout for new artistic talent and review portfolios.
• Maintain active artist and project databases.
