Job summary

Walbec Group is seeking a Contract Analyst to review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of contracts across its operating companies. Reporting to Corporate Counsel, you will balance legal risk with practical business solutions in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

The role requires a Paralegal degree or certificate (or equivalent experience) and 3-5 years' experience in contract review. A valid driver's license is required.

  • Paralegal degree or certificate, or equivalent relevant experience is required.
  • 3-5 years of contract review and drafting experience are required.
  • Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Review, analyze, and negotiate a high volume of contracts including subcontracts, service and supply agreements, access and material agreements, and equipment rental agreements.
  • Conduct pre-bid and contract risk reviews.
  • Draft and revise agreements using standardized templates.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure contracts align with operational needs.
  • Conduct legal and regulatory research to support contract interpretation and risk mitigation.
  • Assist in maintaining and improving contract templates and processes.

Position Summary

Reporting to Corporate Counsel, the Contract Analyst plays a key role in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a wide range of contracts across Walbec's operating companies. Key Responsibilities
