Job summary

Angayut, LLC seeks a Contract Analyst to provide on-site contract and procurement support to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. The analyst will apply Federal and DoD contracting principles across acquisition planning, documentation, price/cost analysis, and post-award administration.

Qualifications

• Education: a bachelor’s degree with relevant coursework is preferred.
• Experience: at least five years of direct federal procurement experience as a Federal employee or contractor in the GS-1102 series or equivalent.
• Certification: DAWIA Contracting Level II or DoD/PAC certification or equivalent.
• Extensive knowledge of federal acquisition processes and DoD contracting principles.
• Demonstrated knowledge of price and cost analysis, fact-finding, and development of action plans.
• Ability to manage routine through moderately complex matters independently.
• Excellent written and oral communication, organization, customer-service, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Support all phases of acquisition management from planning to closeout.
• Apply FAR, DFARS, DoD directives, and related policies.
• Assist with requirements development, market research, solicitation docs, evaluation, and award documentation.
• Perform price and cost analysis using procurement history and market data.
• Conduct fact-finding and develop practical action plans for acquisition issues.
• Coordinate with Contracting Officers, program managers, and legal/finance teams.
• Manage workload, track milestones, identify risks, and communicate with Government personnel.
• Participate as a team member and provide leadership on tasks as needed.
• Prepare compliant acquisition products and maintain audit-ready records.
• Maintain proper contractor status and ensure non-inherently governmental boundaries.

Angayut, LLC is seeking one Contract Analyst to provide on-site contract and procurement support to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. The analyst will perform federal acquisition support across routine through moderately complex requirements and will contribute independently and as a member of an integrated acquisition team. Government officials retain all inherently governmental decision-making and approval authority.

The Contract Analyst will apply comprehensive knowledge of Federal and DoD contracting principles to acquisition planning, procurement documentation, price and cost analysis, problem resolution, award support, and post-award administration. The position requires sound judgment, effective coordination, and the ability to manage multiple acquisition tasks and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Support all phases of acquisition management, including acquisition planning, pre-award, award, administration, and closeout activities.
• Apply the FAR, DFARS, DoD directives and instructions, and other applicable acquisition laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Assist with requirements development, market research, solicitation documents, evaluation support, award documentation, modifications, and contract-file maintenance.
• Perform price and cost analysis using prior procurement history, actual and estimated expenditures, market information, and established rates to support price-reasonableness determinations.
• Conduct fact-finding, analyze routine through moderately complex acquisition issues, and develop practical action plans and recommendations.
• Coordinate with Contracting Officers, contract specialists, program managers, CORs, legal counsel, finance personnel, and requiring activities.
• Manage assigned workload, track milestones and action status, identify risks, and communicate matters requiring Government attention.
• Participate as a team member, work independently when assigned, and provide leadership on individual task elements when appropriate.
• Prepare clear, accurate, timely, and compliant acquisition products and maintain complete, audit-ready records.
• Maintain clear contractor status and ensure all assistance remains within non-inherently governmental boundaries.

Qualifications

• Education: A bachelor's degree with at least 24 semester hours in accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, organization, or a qualifying combination of these fields is preferred.
• Experience: At least five years of direct Federal procurement experience as a Federal employee or contractor employee in the GS-1102 series or an equivalent capacity as a contract specialist, contract administrator, or procurement analyst. DoD experience is preferred but not required.
• Certification: DAWIA Contracting Level II certification, current DoD Contracting Professional Certification, FAC-C Professional certification, or another equivalent.
• Extensive knowledge of federal acquisition processes and Federal and DoD contracting principles.
• Demonstrated knowledge of price and cost analysis, fact-finding, acquisition problem resolution, and development of concrete action plans.
• Ability to manage routine through moderately complex matters, support broad agency efforts, coordinate with others, and work independently.
• Excellent written and oral communication, organization, customer-service, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

Travel

No travel is currently anticipated. Occasional travel may be required if authorized by the Government and the company.

Eligibility Requirements

Ability to obtain and maintain the favorable suitability determination, background investigation, installation access, and credentialing required for performance, including a Common Access Card or other Government-issued credential when applicable.

Employment is contingent upon contract award, Government approval where applicable, successful completion of company pre-employment requirements, and availability at the start of performance.
