Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least 24 semester hours in accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, or related fields preferred.
• At least 10 years of specialized acquisition or contracting experience and relevant certifications.
• In-depth knowledge of current acquisition techniques and best practices, including price and cost analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert support across all phases of acquisition management and the federal acquisition life cycle.
• Apply knowledge of FAR, DFARS, DoD directives and instructions and other applicable policies.
• Review and analyze requirements involving purchasing, procurement, training, research, and program management.
• Perform price and cost analysis using market information and historical data to assess price reasonableness.
• Conduct fact-finding, analyze problems, identify risks, and develop corrective-action recommendations.
• Provide technical advice and coordination supporting acquisition-process improvements.
• Support development of acquisition strategies, requirements documents, solicitations, and evaluation materials.
• Coordinate with Contracting Officers, program managers, CORs, legal counsel, and financial personnel.
• Maintain audit-ready acquisition records and provide status reporting.
• Ensure advice remains within non-inherently governmental boundaries.

Position Description

Angayut, LLC is seeking one Senior Contract Analyst to provide on-site contract and procurement support to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. This senior position supports complex acquisition matters across the acquisition life cycle, provides expert analysis and recommendations, and may guide other acquisition personnel while Government officials retain all inherently governmental decision-making and approval authority.

The Senior Contract Analyst will apply extensive Federal and DoD acquisition expertise to price and cost analysis, fact-finding, problem resolution, acquisition planning, business-process improvement, and management support. The analyst will work independently, coordinate with Government personnel, and deliver accurate, timely, and compliant acquisition products.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert support across all phases of acquisition management and the federal acquisition life cycle.
• Apply current knowledge of the FAR, DFARS, DoD directives and instructions, and other applicable acquisition laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Review and analyze acquisition and contracting requirements involving purchasing, procurement, training, research, business-process improvement, financial analysis, and federal program or project management.
• Perform price and cost analysis using market information, prior acquisition history, actual and estimated expenditures, and established rates to assess price reasonableness.
• Conduct fact-finding, analyze complex acquisition problems, identify risks, and develop concrete and supportable corrective‑action recommendations.
• Provide expert technical advice, staff coordination, and consultation supporting the development of guidelines and implementation of acquisition‑process improvements.
• Support preparation and review of acquisition strategies, requirements documents, solicitations, evaluation materials, award documentation, modifications, and other pre‑award and post‑award products.
• Coordinate with Contracting Officers, contract specialists, program managers, CORs, legal counsel, financial personnel, and requiring activities as directed.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and audit‑ready acquisition records and provide recurring or ad hoc status reporting.
• Maintain clear contractor status and ensure all advice and assistance remain within non‑inherently governmental boundaries.

Qualifications

• Education: A bachelor's degree with at least 24 semester hours in accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, organization, or a qualifying combination of these fields is preferred.
• Experience and certification: At least 10 years of specialized acquisition or contracting experience and DAWIA Contracting Level III certification, current DoD Contracting Professional Certification, FAC-C Professional certification, or another equivalent.
• Outstanding recent operational and managerial resource experience and demonstrated subject‑matter expertise in one or more relevant acquisition‑life‑cycle or program functional areas.
• Demonstrated record of professional excellence in challenging management or team‑lead roles across multiple organizations.
• In‑depth knowledge of current acquisition techniques and best practices, including price and cost analysis and resolution of complex contracting issues.
• Exceptional written and oral communication, analytical, coordination, customer‑service, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• S. citizenship is required.

Travel

No travel is currently anticipated. Occasional travel may be required if authorized by the Government and the company.

Eligibility Requirements

Ability to obtain and maintain the favorable suitability determination, background investigation, installation access, and credentialing required for performance, including a Common Access Card or other Government‑issued credential when applicable.

Employment is contingent upon contract award, Government approval where applicable, successful completion of company pre‑employment requirements, and availability at the start of performance.
