Job summary

Schneider Electric has an exciting opportunity for a Contract Administrator located anywhere in the United States (remote).

Help us deliver solutions that ensure Life Is On everywhere, for everyone, and at every moment. You will liaise between Legal and branch teams to review contracts, manage administration, and support project execution nationwide.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of contract administration or contract management experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple contracts and priorities simultaneously.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented with strong follow-up skills.
  • Effective communication with customers, stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience reviewing and administering contracts in the construction industry.
  • Working knowledge of construction insurance requirements.
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, remote environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as liaison between Legal and branch teams to review contracts and facilitate timely execution.
  • Review and submit service- and project-related contracts to Legal for approval and negotiation as needed.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for contract customers and oversee administration of branch contracts nationwide.
  • Assist with contract negotiations when required.
  • Partner with Risk Management to mitigate risk for SEBA and branch operations.
  • Process Platinum Rule Exceptions through Bridge Front Office (bFO)/Salesforce for corporate approval when needed.
  • Track project and contract status, following up with customers, Legal, and sales teams.
  • Process project-related documentation (COIs, NDAs, Master Subcontracts, Bonds, Bid docs).
  • Manage requests received through Smartsheet and ensure timely completion.

Job description

Schneider Electric has an exciting opportunity for a Contract Administrator located anywhere in the United States (remote).

What will you do in this role?
  • Serve as the liaison between Legal and branch teams to review contracts and facilitate timely execution.
  • Review and submit service- and project-related contracts to the Legal Department for approval and negotiation, as needed.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for contract customers and oversee the administration of branch contracts across the United States.
  • Assist with contract negotiations when required.
  • Partner with Risk Management to help mitigate risk for SEBA and branch operations.
  • Process Platinum Rule Exceptions through Bridge Front Office (bFO)/Salesforce for corporate approval when needed.
  • Track project and contract status, following up with customers, Legal, and sales teams as necessary.
  • Process project-related documentation, including:
    • Certificates of Insurance (COIs)
    • Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
    • Master Subcontracts
    • Payment and Performance Bonds
    • Bid Bonds
    • Bid Documents
    • Bid pre-qualification packages
  • Manage requests received through Smartsheet and ensure timely completion.

  • Work successfully both independently and as part of a remote team.
  • Can follow established processes and ensure compliance with procedures and requirements.
  • Have experience reviewing and administering contracts within the construction industry.
  • Possess a working knowledge of construction insurance requirements.
  • Are comfortable working in a collaborative, remote environment.

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 68,000 - USD 102,000 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
