Pacific Staffing partners with a Sacramento-based client to fill an Accounting Specialist position in the Financial Services Department. The role focuses on journal entries, daily processing, reconciliations, and supporting team members to ensure accurate, timely financial operations.

This is a 4-month contract position with hourly pay between $26.00 and $29.00. Ideal for detail-oriented professionals with GAAP knowledge and NetSuite experience who can work independently in a collaborative

Formación

• Associate’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP and general accounting procedures.
• Experience with NetSuite preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Windows OS.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Analyze daily cash balances and prepare bank transfers.
• Process and reconcile weekly membership dues.
• Apply payments in the accounting system.
• Receive, organize, and distribute incoming mail and checks.
• Prepare and batch checks and payments for deposit.
• Monitor and prepare bank feed transactions.
• Complete monthly bank reconciliations.
• Calculate sales tax liabilities and prepare supporting documentation.
• Maintain records of outstanding checks and monitor items for resolution.
• File work products and assist with additional accounting tasks as assigned.
