Aufgaben

• Perform general ledger account reconciliations, including prepaids, accruals, assets, liabilities, and other balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare journal entries, accounting adjustments, and supporting documentation.
• Research, identify, and resolve account discrepancies.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting activities.
• Prepare financial reports, spreadsheets, analyses, and supporting schedules.
• Assist with company consolidations and financial reporting.
• Support internal and external audits by providing requested financial documentation.
• Review financial information for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and workflows.
• Collaborate with Payroll, Accounts Payable, and other internal departments.
• Provide guidance and support to accounting team members, including training and workflow oversight.

Staff Accountant Location: West Sacramento, CA Compensation: $72, 700 – $97, 250 annually Schedule: Full-Time | Monday– Friday Work Arrangement: Onsite – Not Remote or Hybrid

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join a well-established corporate accounting team in West Sacramento. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with strong general ledger, account reconciliation, and financial reporting experience who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, experience with ERP/financial systems, and the ability to analyze financial information, resolve discrepancies, and support accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general ledger account reconciliations, including prepaids, accruals, assets, liabilities, and other balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare journal entries, accounting adjustments, and supporting documentation.

• Previous experience training, coaching, or overseeing accounting team members is a plus.
• CPA designation is preferred.
