Job summary

BYU-Idaho is seeking a Temporary Accounting Operations Analyst to support student accounts and cashiering functions. The role covers disbursements, collections, and reporting while ensuring compliance with university policies.

This project-based position will assist with SIS transition and ongoing operations, offering cross-functional exposure and a collaborative work environment on campus in Rexburg, Idaho.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2–5 years in accounts receivable and collections.
• Experience in higher education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer student accounts and financial transactions, including holds and disbursements with Title IV funds.
• Support cashiering and payment operations, including cash handling and period-end reconciliations.
• Maintain procedures for Student Accounts, CASHNet, and CRM collection processes.
• Conduct collections and operational reporting using Power BI and Excel.
• Support additional departmental needs as assigned.
