Job summary

BYU-Idaho is seeking a Temporary Degree Verification Coordinator to oversee degree verification services within Student Records & Registration. You will lead a team of student employees, ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and timely responses to verification requests, and identify process improvements during a major SIS project.

The role is project-based for about three years, with a regular Monday–Friday schedule and potential travel for training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• FERPA compliance and privacy knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Process degree verification requests accurately and within established service expectations.
• Review student records, academic history, and credential information to determine appropriate verification responses.
• Lead, train, and develop a team of approximately 5–10 student employees and coordinate workloads.
• Coordinate with campus and external stakeholders on degree verification requests and related student record questions.
