Job summary

Valley Youth House is seeking a Continuous Quality Improvement Specialist to advance data-driven program improvements in York/Dauphin. The role focuses on collecting and analyzing data, refining assessment tools, and leading school-based initiatives toward Promising Practice or Evidenced Based status.

Responsibilities include training staff, advising leadership on gaps and trends, and ensuring accurate data reflects services.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Data Analytics, QA or related field.
  • 2+ years' experience in quality assurance and/or program improvement.
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule and complete pre-employment requirements.

Essential Functions of the Continuous Quality Improvement Specialist:
  • Collect, analyze and report on data collected.
  • Ensure assessment tools and means of data collection are effectively reflecting the services being provided (ie: SBLS pre & post tests, intake forms and demographics in Credible, and direct service hours vs. goal achievement in the AAIs, up to date KPIs).
  • Lead the School-Based program in achieving the status of a Promising Practice and/or an Evidenced Based program.
  • Identify gaps in data collection and create or update assessment tools to meet the need. Assist Central program leads in ensuring policy and procedures are effectively guiding staff in outcome attainment.
  • Train employees on effective data collection and advise the Leadership team on areas for improvement. Including gaps in services, trends and potential risks.
Minimum Qualifications for the Continuous Quality Improvement Specialist:
  • A bachelor's degree in Social Work, Data Analytics, Quality Assurance or other related field. If the degree is in an unrelated field then the candidate must have at least 4 years of experience in quality assurance and/or program improvement, child welfare or school based services.
  • Two or more years' experience working in quality assurance and program improvement/implementation.
  • A valid driver's license, a motor vehicle report that meets agency requirements and reliable transportation that can safely transport clients if needed.
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule.
  • Ability to complete the pre-employment physical and drug test requirements.
Physical Requirements for the Continuous Quality Improvement Specialist:
  • Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing. X Constantly
  • Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds. X Occasionally
